Use your existing OCA Email and Password to login with Google at accounts.google.com (or use the ‘Add another account’ option if you already have a Gmail or other OCA Email account.) Once signed in, proceed to https://learn.oca.ac.uk and use the Email sign in link to access the OCA Learn VLE and the courses you are currently studying.
Your OCA Email account
Notifications and updates from the OCA Learn VLE and your tutor will go to your OCA Email account, which you can access at https://mail.google.com. Please use this email account for all communications between yourself and your tutor or the college. This account also provides you with unlimited cloud storage through Google Drive, which you may find useful during your studies.
Accessing your courses
Once signed into the OCA Learn VLE, you can find the courses you are enrolled on through the My Courses link in the top-right of the screen. To learn more about using the OCA Learn VLE, please take some time to go through the OCA Learn Induction course, which you should find listed as one of your courses. Once you’re confident in using the OCA Learn environment, you should proceed to the Getting Started course (see below) before beginning your studies on the Photography 1: Identity and Place course. The Parts of the course can be worked through in the left-hand column on a desktop/laptop computer, or through a menu in the lower-right corner of the screen on mobile devices.
You have also been enrolled onto the college's Getting Started (an Introduction to HE Study) course, which prepares you for your studies as a distance learning OCA student. You should work through this short course before moving on to study your course unit.
